I broke one of the eyes of mine while trying to get it out the rod box one day ! My buddy fixed the eye and never returned cause he likes it so much ! Lol both rods r still in great shape and still going strong ! There prices aren't that bad ether !

So what size rod do you use in your yak, ive talked to Lance, but im still perplexed with the color on the rod wraps, reel Diawa Sol and a Curado E5, i want a Tops and Tails rod

I use mostly 7' mediums with a fast tip, 9'' handle... last one I got “k” series micro guides. I wouldn’t get micro guides if you use >15lb flouro leaders tied to your braid.

10lb PowerPro, its not the Split Seat its a regular grip with the blank exposed on the backside.
You try he samarai braid yet?? Much smoother and limber.......IMO, much better line.....check it out

That samurai braid is nice, but super expensive 50 bucks for 300 yards!! I just spooled a reel with sufix braid, its smoother than pp and alot cheaper then the samurai.

I tried samurai for a bit, broke a lot on me compaired to similar sized suffix braid. I would put 10lb suffix strength wise vs. samurai 15lb any day.

Ive thought about Samurai Braid and if I get the extra money I may try it out. Ive tried all the others and ended up going back to PowerPro

I'd have to see that test.......I have a hard time cutting it with clippers, much less breaking off!!!!
Bmt......you wont regret it......best line I've ever used. Only problem I have is tying it. Its so small.......I use the 20lb so it doesn't dig in to bad......oh, and.you gotta spool it on here REALLY tight......
Do not use clippers on any braid. use scissors or blade.
What you know about clippers? They weren't even invented back when you fished.......hehehehe.....I'm kidding......ill try the scissors.....

Got my wade rod in, amazing again is all I can say. I went out this evening and fished for a bit and caught some trout up to 23" and a few keeper reds. They worked perfect and are light as all get out!

Neither was power pro .But us old dogs can still learn a new trick or two :*****:
