Knocked off early Thursday for a relaxing weekend of fishing and golf at the bend.....we fished midlake Friday morning and sunday morning.....Golfed and chilled the rest of the time. The lake is of course VERY low which made for tough fishing other then in the morning. Caught all of our fish in 2-8ft in da Grass and move out into 10-15 once the sun came up....caught most fish on Ribbit then Crankbait. Also ran into a huge school of White bass yesterdat...must have caught about 45...that was fun. one of the picks is of a 5lb bass that came in a boat lane in 13ft on a Crank it was the biggest bass of teh trip.
All in All it was a blast.:D

Nice pics and report. Where did y'all launch? I'll get my boat back w/a new lower unit when i get in from offshore. I'll probably be up there next week.

Tranquility bay on Lannan off of 1215......if you launch there be very careful running to the main lake in the north boat lane.....there is an area about the size of half a football field that is in the MIDDLE of the boat lane and its only about 1ft of water....usually a great carolina/crankbait spot.....now almost an island...go figure.
Just be careful man dont want you to replace that lower unit twice.

Neither does Farm Bureau!!!:*****:
The spot you speak of, is that between the cove with the landing strip and the main lake? I traveled that area back in feb/march and it was like 3' or less.
