Both are great guns. I own the older 390. Have shot the Urika & Extrema at some trap. Next one (If I ever need another) will be Extrema. Both are sweet guns though.

Cant go wrong with either. I have the Extrema II and have hunted with it for the last 3 seasons. very dependable with 0 hangups and I don't clean the thing but once or twice a year....if that. very easy to get apart. super gun. grew up with rem 1100 and 1187 and this was my 1st non remington and I love it.

Shoots anything you want. Lot of guys shoot 'em with the light trap & skeet loads. Shoots & ejects without a problem.

My old hunting buddy shot a Browning B2000 for a couple years. He had a lot of issues with it. When shooting ducks, it worked great. When hunting doves with light loads, he had a lot of jamming. When he shot heavy loads for geese, he had issues also.
He bought a Beretta and never had an issue again. I don't remember the model, it was about 25 years ago.
I am partial to pump shotguns cause I abuse them a good bit. I don't have jamming issues.

Benelli Vinci is better than anything on the market!!!! You don't agree I will buy it from you for 2x what you payed. Much more durable and an all around higher quality gun. I had a SBE II that fell out the boat. Found it 4 months later, loaded fresh shells still went bang.

Exterma 2 case closed. Been having mine for two years and wouldn't trade it for any other gun on the market. Not a single problem.

Extrema 2,I have had one for two years and hunt about 80 days with it and probably shoot close to 3 cases a year and never had any problem:)

I have shot some skeet using 1 1/8 oz loads and no problem. I dont shoot anything under 1 1/8 oz

I have shot doves with 2 3/4 1oz #8 lead and I only shoot teal with steel 2 3/4 1oz #7 winchesters. never ever had one not cycle perfectly......and I shoot alot of shells during teal season.....12 to 15 boxes per year for the last 3 that Ive had the extrema and not one hiccup.

I just picked up a browning maxus on Sat...Seems like a sweet gun...super light and is supposed to have very low recoil and can handle very light loads well...I post more after I get to shoot it...

I have one of each I use the Extreme 2 my son uses the urika. I clean the extreme twice a year he never cleans the urika and we both never had any problems. I hunt duck and goose in the morning and go rigth to the dove field and never had a jam with the extreme. Both are really good guns

As long as you stick with Beretta or Benelli you cannot go wrong....

From what I have read, the only difference between the two guns are that the extrema shoots 3 1/2" shells and has an optional extended magazine. If you plan on shooting the 3 1/2", go with the extrema, if not, go with teh urika. I have a 391 urika and it is a bit lighter than the extrema. They are both fine guns. Never had a hangup and I don't clean it.

Forget about that beretta! I shoot an SBE II and wouldn't shoot anything else at ducks and I hunt prob 3-4 days week. It's lightweight And throws up sooo sweet! If that Vinci shot 3 1/2s I would get it. If u don't shoot 3 1/2 a lot go get Vinci. I also have the benelli m1 3". I been having it since high school and it's a beast. And I have shot 7/8 oz shot out my 3" a whole case with no hangs.
