Calcasieu river bass report

went yesterday evening just to take my dog out in the bote...brought one pack of worms, one rod. Fished a spot I've never fished did rather well..I ended the day with 8 bass, released..majority of the fish was 11 inches or so. Caught this 8 inch fatty! shortest/fattest fish i've ever seen!

man, the fish had nothing (geneticly) wrong with him..he's just been eating ALOT of shad..which most bass have been, the shad are starting to get big..
