I am curretly looking at a 2008 Xpress X22B with a yamaha F150. Boat is priced reasonably. Is this a good boat? Any complaints or praise is welcome. Boat is priced at 19500. Boat is stock no added extras but in showroom condition.

I bought a X22 B in May and I love it. For 19,500 that is a steal of a deal. Is it the X with the hyperlift hull and or the HD hull? I have the F150 to and I love it. You will be very happy with this boat if it is the one with the hyperlift hull. If it is too rough for this boat then you do not need to be fishing. I had the HD hull and traded it in for the X. The HD is good for fishing the marsh but cannot handle much of a chop unless you want to get beat to death. For bay fishing I would not get it. Trust me, take it from someone who had the HD. You are not able to get on top of waves to run since it does not have a V and it is no too heavy.

I have a 2009 X22 with a yama 200 hpdi. I love it it has plenty room and rides good. The price sound to good to be true for the condition you describe it as, if this is an internet deal be careful.

I currently own a flat bottom CC and it beats you in the chop. I ran across this deal and thought it would be a good upgrade. Yes it is the hyperlft hull 2008 X22.

That boat with the 150 four stroke with tax sells for 30K ready to fish. If it is the X-hyperlift hull that is a steal of a deal! Go for it.

I am trying to get it worked out this weekend. Hopefully I can get it done. I will post pics once it is mine. First thing I want to do is put a hydralic jackplate or a manual. What size setback should I put on it. All Star what is top speed in yours with three people and gear.

Get the jack plate. I have a 6" manuel. With 3 men, 44gal fuel, gear, 162qt ice chest, plus all other stuff; I can turn right at 5,900rpms with a speed of 47-50 mph (gps). I usually cruise at 4,800-5,100rpms doing 38-43 mph. Also, if you are able to I would upgrade to a 80# thrust troll motor if possible. Are you buying this from a dealer or an individual?

O.K. How do you know? What do you call hardcore? You got pics or this is just opinion.

Goatro trust me that boat will take a chop. Will it take a chop just like a 22' Champion, Blackjack, Blazer Bay or Pathfinder??....NO....but not many glass boats will. On the X hyperlift hull bay boats it is .125" thick and it weights more than a lot of 22' fiberglass boats.....I got mine for 30K with tax ready to fish new. For you to get a new quality fiberglass bay boat (ones I have listed) you are looking at close to 40K or more. Comes down to how much you fish and how much you want to spend. I was thinking of going with a 20' fiberglass since it was in the 30K range but I wanted a 22'.

i would have to see this in 3 footers to believe that its better then a champ or a blackjack... especially with one of those 4 banger 4 strokes...

If you could understand what you read I said it will not take a chop like a Champion or Blackjack!!!
