Winter is coming up and I am just wanting to get some ideas of some good things to put in my tackle box for this season. I'm thinking of some new Rat-L-Traps and def some topwaters. Open to ideas and discussion.

If you want to meat haul hard to beat a glow and avacado salty grub or sparkle beetle. Big trout go with what was already mentioned.

Grubs on 1/16 oz YMB jigheads

Grubs n curltail jigs(white, chart, purple white tail curly tails) for flats. And jcheif couldn't have said it better but ill try: if you ain't got a yallow mouth jig head on your line that's the first thing your doing wrong!!! They should already be in your tackle selection. 1/16oz jig heads in the winter and shallow flats are king ESp in winter

Years ago when I use to buy them from Mr. Brown out of his garage, I asked him what is the best method for using his bait. He said......when you think you are retrieving it slow, cut it in half. Also, slightly bend the tail left or right on the original for a more eratic swim.

x's 2..... He has been fishing with the brokebacks more than anything else lately. I can only get them thru him, and big trout love these things from November to February! The old timers used to say when you fished a pop-r that all the rings would have to be at least 5 ft away before you popped it again..... same concept with this bait SLOW - CHECK THESE OUT!

I have 8 or 10 of the Peanuts and Devils too that I never use. I keep going back to the originals and Fatboys.
Guess if I threw the Peanuts more I would get more confident with them.
