Paul Myers asked if I would be interested in putting something in as a sponsor of this year's benefit tournament. I will be offering a full day trip with me. I am excited to be a part of this year's tourney. Many of you know me from years past but I wanted to introduce myself to the new folks. I am a full time Orvis Endorsed Fly Fishing Guide. I was born and raised here in Louisiana and do what I can to support and conserve our fishery. Here is some pics from today's trip. To see more pics and get some more info on what I do visit my website lowtidecharters.com

That is a mat used when fly fishing so your line won't slide around the deck and get tangled.

Paul is correct. It is a line lair used to keep your line from blowing off the deck on windy days.

Yes, I use light tackle when a customer wants to. It will still be sight fishing, I don't use bait or anchor up anywhere.

I took Ryan like he said and we had a great time. I teach people how to cast all the time.

Here is a customer's first red on fly ever, caught yesterday. Good start to his endeavors! 24 pounds on an 8 wt.
