You have to buy a seperate permit for Sandhills over there.

I killed some in Mexico last year. Referred to as a ribeye-in-the-sky. They taste awesome!

Yep in the federal Permit is Free.
Season is Nov. to Feb actual dates vary a little depending on are of state. Earliest is Nov. 7th.

There are always alot across the river from me and sometimes they come in the yard.

Those are some loud suckers!!!
