Very good book written by a coworker and friend of mine. Anything and everything you ever wanted to know about the Atchafalaya River Basin. Pretty cheap on Amazon right now.

Damn, need to get me one of those. Have you seen the one that was published by the Corps about the history of the management of the Basin? Looks pretty interesting.

I haven't seen it, this one is a compilation of everything and likely includes that as well. Pretty thorough
