a few of the forums I frequent have chat rooms. They are free to add to forums and can be fun if the forum is lively enough 1 forum advertises their chat room as happy hours from 5 to 7pm as a place to visit over a few beers after work. Well there's enough of us here that that might be fun. Any thoughts??

That would be nice. I know a few sites that use Vbulletin have it.

I use to be channel op in several rooms on MIRC years ago. An active room is a must. Takes alot of conversation to make it interesting. Good old DALnet days. :)

Thats why rooms on forums that work advertise hours to narrow the need. ohters that do not sit unused.

Awright give me a break I was drinkin.......come to think of it, am again. Rooms that advertise some thing like happy hour from 5-7 Pm do well folks show up early and stay late and .... well.....chat, talk about nothing much.

Rooms that do not designate time slots tend to just sit unused. Folks log in do not see any one to talk to log out. This is a very busy forum hit wise but often things get hundreds of views with no comments so it may not work who knows?? At least the price is right for them FREE!! Make mo betta sence now?????
