Al plants started from seeds, rain didn't seem to slow them down any, so far so good. First year planting Black Krim and they do have a very good somewhat smokey sweetness. Saw them last year at whole foods priced at over $ 9.00 a pound. Will plant them again next year. The bigger ones are averaging around 12.5 oz my kinda sandwich tomato. 2 Black Krim in front and 1 Beefsteak.. .9015190152

nice lookin maters. neva heard of theat brand. The raised beds help lots with the rain, a good loosly mulched soil aids in draining but the down side is when it dont rain in a few days ya gotta water it so its a trade off.

I went with the weedblock fabric this year with a soaker hose on top so if needed I could give it a good long slow drink of h2o. Seems to be help.
