I just pulled up the ones I had and traded then to a friend but I'll look for ya. They grow very fast and if ya fertilize like we do the crops are amazing.

Them big ole trees remind me of my grandpaws...A friend of mine made a japan plum cake...I planted some seeds once and gave the plants to my nephew for his food plot for deer...I told him to build a cage around them and they eat as it sprouts thru...They were 4-5 feet tall and when he went back half were eaten down to ground trunk and all ...2 weeks all were gone...Needless to say he didn't believe me when I told him they eat trunk and all and didn't build a cage....

They are actually nice trees they are pretty much evergreen the plums are delicous and the leaves and seeds are supposed to be medicinal we thinking bout drying some leaves and trying the tea they say is so good for you.

I have a friend that makes wine with the plumbs. It is pretty good but a little sweet for me.

I dont see any small ones growing now. We Got ours from a local nursery ask around they grow like weeds. If you fertilize like I do in February they go nuts.:)

What do the plums taste like? I have a fairly large front yard that's empty, so my plan is to slowly start planting different fruit trees. We just planted the first fig tree last weekend. This may be my next addition.

They are a fairly sweet fruit which is easily peeled and you can spit out the rather large seeds...I think there"s more seed than fruit but they are tasty...They are easily grown from seed...I had one I used to keep trimmed down to make it bushy and easier to pick the fruit...
