Took a break from Speck and Flounder fishing to take advantage of Snapper Season opening today. If all the Snapper in the area we were fishing were to come to the surface at once, you could walk on them from Pascagoula to Mobile!!!!!

All of our fish except the one larger one were all the same size. Get the grease hot for some Snapper Throats!!!!!!!!

"W", I looking at coming down this fall. The wetland consulting business has slowed down due to the development slow down (economy), so I'm not going to make it over there until fall. My friend that works for DU in Layfayette are heading over there for fall fishing. I was just getting to know the lake enough to know where to go! We're finally catching some specks and flounder over here, had 34 flounder last week in 3 trips. I do love coming over there though. I'll be skipping some Mississippi bowhunting to do some Big Lake trout fishing in the fall.
