It may not be my place, but I saw on FB that W's dad has passed. I know nothing about the gentleman other than he gave us W. But W is such a fine man and has made such great contributions to Salty Cajun and fishing in SW LA that I think it's safe to conclude that his dad must have been an awesome dude.
Too young to go, too young to lose your dad. Thoughts, prayers, and the utmost in sympathy for W at this time. Wish it were different. I know that it really sucks.
