Has anyone ever used the fiberglass place on Common street in Lake Charles? Are they reasonably priced and do they do a good job?

He does a great job. Don't go by his looks, he is sometimes scary. Ken Olmsted is his name.
His dad owned Olmsted Shipyard since 1939 and he was born and raised doing fiberglass work.
Think it is AAA Fiberglass.

Olmsted Shipyard did the work to my Chris Craft after Hurricane Ike. You cannot tell
where the scars were. They matched the gelcoat colors perfectly, and the boat is
30 years old.
I had a cracked hard top and several gelcoat chips along the water line where debris
floated down the bayou and hit the boat.

Ken did some work for my old center console about 15 or 20 years. He was recommended
to me by the manufacturer to get some warranty work done. He did a great job also.

Thanks for the replies. I have a boat that I had to pull the floor and replace the stingers and transom. I have replace them but don't have the patience to finish it. I am going to try to get that way Tues or Wed. before I go back to work.
