2010 Trout SPR is 18%

Our Trout SPR is 18 this year.......this means we have a healthy fishery!!

Not only is our fishery healthy but Big Lake has lower limits and has a better SPR than any other area!!

What does this mean? Means 18% of our trout get to the spawning age. I have always said it....keep your estuary healthy and your fish will follow!!!

Trout spawn in the dark, under the covers. Who is holding the candle and who is counting how many are spawning??? Just a guesstamate, in my opinion.
There is a WAG or theory for everything.

18% doesn't sound very good to me either. It doesnt say anything about actually spawning just "spawning age"
