Had a blast visitin with everybody. I hope the Little Angels Foundation gets a fat check. Bluechip....I know I've said it before, but that is the best jambalaya I've ever tasted. You really know how to do it right. Thank you. It was awesome to see all the kiddos out there winning and participating. This is an event I will try to participate in every year. Casey, you hosted another great event man. Good job. Hey, Southern 151....I heard your new nickname is 40 gal. instead of 40 cal.? LMAO

Had a great time ! was good to meet the folks that i talk to on the site and see some that i already have met. Didn't catch a fish .But i didn't expect to . Having never fished the lake before. Had a wet butt all day Sat and still enjoyed my self . That was some of the finest jambalaya i have had. There is a video and pics of us floating around of us coming in to heberts on TM power. Easy change from 40 cal to 40 gal? Corey, love ya my brother. But ya can't forget a 4 hr boat ride when the gas gauge don't work? Thanks Capt Big Lake (W) for the gas cans so we didn't have to trailer up to go get fuel.
Most of all, THANK YOU ALL!!! For coming out and supporting Little Angels ! A very worthy charity

Is there a thread or post that shows who the winners were? (Othet than the the Little Angels Foundation)

Did MathGeek weigh in one of his famous BullRed or Gafftop?

Guys, I had a blast! I'm surprised my screen name wasn't changed when I got online today! LOL! Just a SMALL oversight!

Bobby and, Brandie couldn't stop talking about how impressed they were with the items for raffle, attendance and, the hospitality of everyone they spoke with! I can't thank you enough for everything and, it was good to see all the folks I got to see this weekend! I had hoped to run into a few more but, there's always next time!

Again, thanks! I had a great fishless weekend! Some nice anglers were kind enough to donate a few my way though so, we didn't come home empty handed!

Yeah. My boys worked hard the day before catching crabs for bait and we also picked up some crawfish at JT's. Ended up catching the winner (30.5 lbs black drum) on a crawfish soaking in Turner's Bay. One of my boys decided we should fish Turner's at the last minute because we've only been catching one bull drum for every four bull reds at the jetties this year. Weather also played a factor.

The rain dampened the boys enthusiasm a bit, but we all appreciated the great jambalaya and friendly environment back at Calcasieu Pt. It was great meeting everyone and seeing folks out there. We were a bit disappointed in some no shows, but considering the weather, it's hard to blame anyone for sitting this one out.

And it has to be noted that he donated the trash pot winnings back to the Little Angels.

Wanted to talk to you a bit, but was kinda busy. lol
