Everything is still clicking along well Corey. Wyatt has been having some up and down blood gases the last two days. The doctors upped the vent settings a day ago but Wyatt is still a little high on his CO2. I am waiting on a call from the doctor now to discuss options. Everything else is going great. Wyatt is eating like a champ and maintaining all his other numbers really well. If we could get the boy back on CPAP and see if he is able to stay off the ventilator for a little while longer I would be much happier. I am worried that the longer he stays intubated the worse he is going to get. Keep the prayers going in hopes that Wyatt can make the switch back to CPAP, and that he lasts a good while on it allowing his lungs to recover.

Thanks for the update bro. I can't imagine what yall are going through. Keep us posted and prayers are with you and your family.

Throw out a few prayers today boys and girls. Wyatt is getting his second attempt at cpap. Wyatt is getting far more breast milk and calories this time around so hopefully he will stay on it. I'll keep everyone updated on his progress.

Wyatt's got this! Tough little man you got, Lucas!

Well, we are at the hospital right now and Wyatt is doing good. He seems to be tolerating the cpap well, so far. I got to bathe him tonight and we weighed him. I am proud to say that Wyatt has eclipsed the 2 pound mark! I think this is a big deal because he is only 40 grams or 1.1 ounces away from being weighed and bathed every night. It appears the feeds are working because Wyatt has gained 100 grams since Sunday. Things seem to be on the up and up right now so hopefully we can keep this trend going. The prayers are working don't let anyone convince you otherwise.
