I think I responded here before, but I am a Dimensional Control Survey Tech. We work 3D laser scanners, highly accurate total stations, and 3D software. We use all of this to tell you FLUOR guys, BP guys, Oceaneering guys, and Exxon etc guy if the stuff yall are fabricating or having fabricated are being built to spec! Y'all usually hate us or love us... lol

Our DC department does that, I was trying to get in with them before I landed my current gig. They use Leica surveying instruments.
