Everyone who weights in a live trout and its able to be release will be in the drawing for the prize

Valued around $400

So what's a live trout and what's a live trout able to be released. And who determines this? I know some people got screwed a few thousand dollars by cca at the trout shootout. Fish were still breathing but they didn't get the extra weight for live fish. Makes no sense

If its belly up and not breathing its not considered live. If it is looking ill and doesn't swim off after being revived you don't get the bonus. Weight master will determine. All rulings are final

Doesn't make any since, if it's alive it's alive it should be like major bass tournaments u get 30 sec for the fish to move it's gills. Who says a trout that swims off is in any better condition than one that still breathing belly up?

Look man, its weight masters choice I'm just saying how I think it will work considering I ran this tournamentast year and am on committee again.

And I don't know about the 30 second rule I don't let my fish get to that point

If the fish is placed in our tank and is mobile its alive..which means it swims... If it rolls belly up and we can't revive it...its dead

Your not a Professional and our weight master makes the call!

Please PM me or call me regarding your statement, 337-288-5685. Your facts are incorrect but this is not the place for me to explain the TRUTH.

CPR will get you more entrants to this tournament, good on whoever decided to add it to the format.

The idea is to promote catch and RELEASE. If the fish cannot be released, then what is the point?

This is a benefit tourney. If you don't like it, well you know what you can do.

Were not going to be that critical on the fish...if it moves and can swim in our tank...

BossHog 07-28-2011 09:49 AM

I'm just trying to help yall get your rules straight.

mikedatiger 07-28-2011 10:08 AM

Guys - the determination on the fish will be 100% up to the weighmaster. No if's and's or but's. If you don't like it then don't fish it. But if you do have concerns, take them up with Speckdaddy.

THIS IS A CHARITY TOURNAMENT and yes, money is on the line however top priority is to raise money for St. Jude's.

Should we print out anything to prove we paid online or will y'all have a list made up? How will you prove who we are?
