If the wind lays down I think we may see something close to 9lbs win. With the wind it may be in the low 7lbs that wins it.

the live release bonus usually comes into play big time within the Top 5. Make sure to keep those big girls alive.

Yeah that is what bumped me up. I had a 5.25 but with the bonus that put me at 5.75.

A week or so after the full moon is the best fishing of the month. I think there is a good chance we will see a fish over 8lbs win.

agree with W....too many boats running around. Usually 7 even wins the thing. Anything 5 + with a live bonus will have you sitting pretty IMO.

FYI, the citgo gas station across from cracker barrel has 2.49 reg. unleaded, thats the cheapest I have seen in a while, better go fill er up for the shootout.......

I would bet money the winner comes out of West Cove. Lots of big fish have come out of there this week.
