Best thing to do is pull the covers off, rinse with fresh water and dry with a blow dryer as soon as possible.
Saltwater will eventually eat up everything inside of a phone.

First guys there caught a couple decent 16 inchers, water was up really high so I waded out to about my armpits and finally caught a couple of fish, then I remembered something really important...

My iPhone was in my pocket! :pissed:

I called it a day at 9 and came home to clean my $200 fish and put my phone in a bag of rice, maybe I will be able to salvage it and save a couple hundred bucks.:help:

Need to get an Otter Box for your phone. I wouldn't swim with it on purpose but is good for those Oh-____ moments.

Otter box is the shiznit! Dropped my phone in the water numerous times...not water proof but definitely water resistant!

Bay- the water was pretty muddy and lots of seaweed, had about 1" of visability.
Loneshark- had it in an otter box and it was in a plastic bag with my keys, I just didn't intend on bringing them in the water with me, I had about half a teaspoon of water in the bag with the phone and stuff.
