Yeah, spinners for cork fishin and high winds.

gasdad 07-08-2010 02:38 PM

Spinner

I wouldn't mind a better quality spin rod if the price is right.

shellman 07-08-2010 05:21 PM

For the right price I could use another fine Billystyx...

Zachary Boy 07-08-2010 05:34 PM

Yup, gotta keep one on hand for windy days. The only direction a baitcaster will cast is downwind....

the reason i am asking

i guess you guy's are sorta curious as to why i am asking?
well i told ray that i am going to try to pull some strings and have a spinrod sale, now you must understand that the rods that i build normally go for $225 to $250 and i know you think geeeezzzeee but trust me in the world of custom rod builders my rods would go for mor like $400 if you were to go to say another custom rod builder, but i just dont see that kind of money talent or no talent so i try to stay in a range that a everyday working man could plan and get himself a nice custom rod, not to say that everyone could or would just that it's there for those that want the best.
now with this being said i also like to break tradition and on occassion i go berserk and go slam to the bottom and this is what i am going to try to do **** if""" i can get my supplier to coperate with me, but i will need to lay down the $$$$$$ to do this and i am trying to get some idea as to how many i might move if i go to the bottom, ok you ask me where is your bottom vrs my bottom well it will not be $39.95 i can tell you that right now but it will not be $225>00 either i am going to try to get a price that i belive most of you guys will like, so let me work on my guy and see where i can get him on price and then i can offer up a sale for a limited amt of 6ft6 or 7ft spin rods custom built, so if any one has any thought's on my idea either good or negitive let me hear it.
thank's stix

longsidelandry 07-08-2010 08:53 PM

:shaking: so far this has been the answer but i still belive that$$$ talks, and what i have tried to get my supplier to understand is that i will be ordering 12 setups at once $$$$ now if he goes along with it, i will be able to give you guys your choice of a 6ft6 or a 7ft med action spin rod with good guides for $135 plus ship of $30 now thats close to $100 off the regular price, and if any one wants to upgrade to titanium guides they can get those at my cost which is $40 so this is the deal that i want to offer, but i have to get it approved first before i can offer it.
anyone have any coment"s
on this please post up so i will know which way to go, i might even have to go to more than 12 just have to wait and see.

For that price, I want one with titanium guides. Let me know if the deal goes thru.

coachlaw 07-11-2010 04:35 AM

Is there any other kind? I like to make fun of the Texans with their silly bass fishing baitcasters.
