I saw one for sale a few years ago.....it was a cops, he wanted 500 for it.......I was broke at the time......I kick myself for not figuring out a way to buy it.......nothing sounds like that gun!!!!

speck-chaser 08-31-2010 09:56 PM

When we goin
Shoot it?

speck-chaser 08-31-2010 10:07 PM

as soon as someone breaks in.lol

Dink 08-31-2010 10:20 PM

I had the revovler vs semi debate awhile back.......I like em both, but when someone breaks in, I want the semi.....why shoot em 6 times when you can shoot em 10??? A Guy mentioned a cop asked why h had **** the intruder 10 times......he said "cause I ran out of bullets". Guess a pre or post ban 9mm would have been better for him??

Dink 08-31-2010 10:20 PM

Shot

speck-chaser 08-31-2010 10:25 PM

I wouldnt use that one on an intruder anyhow, kinda special never being shot. I gots plenty more I would like to try out first. Im like you with the semi auto too. lots of rounds, and dont forget the riot shotgun, very effective inside the house.

I got a single shot 10, only chambers 3 1/2.......I got some #2 lead shot in it......it stays loaded under my bed.....I feel sorry for the Guy that comes in unwanted....you know how on western movies people go flying thru the air when hit by a shotgun?? I bet the same would happen with this 10!!!!

Lol I have one too. Crack barrel 10 gauge, it's my turkey gun.

The sell a lot of compacts in .45 that's what I would go with, however if you get a revolver you can count on 5-6 shots that won't jam and there is no arguing the damage a .357 mag can cause.

LOL I shot a turkey with it this year, and one year before last. When I am shooting at wild game, the last thought on my mind is how hard it is going to kick. I dont even come close to noticing it. But when I bought it, I decided to take it out to Sherbune and check out my pattern. I got off about 4 shots before I had enough. I have never shot a gun that kicks as hard as this one.

Dink 09-01-2010 01:06 PM

Mine weights 7 1/2 lbs.......its a BEAST!!!!

PathfinderNI 09-01-2010 03:08 PM

Got a Glock 10mm

with pre-ban 15-shot magazines loaded with ProLoad hollowpoints....smooth shootin' gun. With 15 shots you can fire quite a few practice rounds to find the target!!:D Like my Sig 40/.357 a lot too. Keep a couple of Kahr 9mm's for concealment/automobile pistols. Don't have a .45, wouldn't mind having one.

rambler 09-30-2010 08:24 AM

380 vs 9mm - i believe both rounds are .355

the difference is the length - if i remember correctly, the 9mm case is 2mm longer. those 2mm make a lot of difference in how fast a heavier bullet can be sent downrange.

i've never had a cause to brandish my weapons, but i've always heard that the most effective weapon is the one that you can hit the target with. no one wants to be shot with ANYTHING regardless of caliber.

Beware the man who only owns one gun. More than likely he knows how to use it very well.

I know of a guy that took 4 shots with a .40 to the chest before he hit the ground, it wasn't good after that for him though, especially since two more shots were fired:cool:
