I have used a food saver for years also. It works good on fish for freezing.

When I catch redfish, I will leave them on the halfshell, season them up with everything and vacuum pack them. Makes for an easy meal just pop one out of the freezer, thaw it out which does not take long and put it on the pit.

Cut some fresh lemon slices to lay on the top and it's supper time....

The Food Saver makes for a great Christmas present.....
