I hear you. Perfect world you have 3 different boats for marsh, bay and offshore. I guess everyones goal is to find their medium middle. I run a 22 bay ranger and have done east bay and Breton sound. Have not ventured offshore though.

GOOD buddy of mine has yellow/black 25ltz been in that and 24 champ.....no comp. hands down shearwater......

if money were no comparison i would have that 42 foot invincible and i would quit trout fishing and just offshore fish

if money is not the issue... neither. the reason a champion is heavy. rides great but dont float shallow. neither does a shearwater. the a$$ end sits low in water. been in both. trust me. if u want a boat that rides great and floats stupid shallow give me a call and I can line u up wit the Lake and Bay guy. I have been in a ton of different boats and Lake and Bay is by far the best riding one I have been in. That is why i bought it. Cant say anything bout how a yellowfin floats because I never been in one but i bet they are nice, All are great boats. But it depends on what u want it to do. I promise a L and B Floats way shallower than either and rides unbelievably good. And hauls butt. If u dont believe me I will let u come ride in mine. Dont mind lining u up with them
