Looks shopped but live your dream sir......

Gasper Master 09-01-2011 09:37 PM

I usually keep my mouth shut and not bash, but the pics are TOTALLY BS. The first pic has the 1 half a$$ parallel to the edge of the tail. The pic with the guy has the 1 totally in a different position. C'mon MAN...

Just go to David's taxidermy in Laf and see. Actually ill try to go one day next week and ask to see it and ill let you guys know.

nguidry 09-02-2011 05:12 PM

Either photo shopped or black sharpied. I have a friend that can make amazing art with a box of colored sharpies. Either way that is one I would have to see in person

gonzalesdave 09-02-2011 08:31 PM

On the sportsman it says he has a "12" on the other side but those pics have to wait.....not sure I'm buying into this one.

coco 09-03-2011 11:23 AM

good fish

huntin fool 09-03-2011 03:27 PM

If you notice the blimish where the 13 is, is where it was blended in photo shop. However they did a horrible job blending it.
It being at the taxidermist doesn't mean anything. Taxidermist can make anything the way they want. I know one who made a 10 lb Gogle eye perch.

From a photographers view, its PhotoShop

"dude" I'm aware of the "halo" reds have, your talking to someone who is on the water 6 days out of the week,Dude. However, the shot of just the tail, looks a little too "fishy". The "halo" looks much odder than what I've seen before.
And "dude" I'm not the only one who said it was photoshopped. ;)

LifeTyme007 09-03-2011 08:37 PM

Just think if you caught that fish...you too would be proud and happy to share with fellow sportsman! Be happy for this fellow and congrat him on such a rare catch. Congrats!!!

MikeinSlagle 09-04-2011 07:33 PM

Let the naysayers say nay, but here is a pic of the "12" on the other side.

And as for the taxidermist comment, how can you say they can make anything they want?!

http://i1110.photobucket.com/albums/.../jackalope.jpg

I think its kinda funny the fella posting the original only has the 6 posts about said fish and the fella coming to his rescue has only the 2 posts where he did just that. Hmmm. Something smells 13 kinds of fishy.

Podnuh, you have a whole 21 posts. Not sure you should be calling anyone out. Think before you post next time. I know this fella. I'll vouch for him. I belove the post entirely. Why can't it be true? I've seen reds that were completely blacked out with spots. I have one being mounted with 34 spots. I've caught them with no spots. And yet, there is no biological data as to the patterns of redfish spots.

huntin fool 09-04-2011 08:00 PM

I've caught reds with over 100 spots on them. The way this post shaped up, made it seem photo shopped. If its real, congrats. But everyone is intitled to their opinion, especially on a public message board.
