The new android operating system is going to blow the iPhone out the water in my opinion. It's very user friendly and has a huge selection of apps. Plus u can get a 4G capable phone with a droid. The new iPhone (4s) does NOT run on the 4G network.

I'm interested to see how smooth the next android os is, it looks like it has some neat features. If it can be as smooth and consistent as the iphone that will be nice. 4G isn't an option around sw LA yet. The 4S does support a higher speed 3G through AT&T. Not sure how available it is though.

I wouldn't bet on that new operating system just yet. A friend of mine came over last weekend to watch the game, he had troubles with his droid, it kept crashing on him and for some reason. He was only downloading a few updates for some apps and texting.

Scott is right about the 4G network, it is not available around here yet. Also some comapines that claim are on the 4G network, weel let's just say that there are some facts they may leave out and a few speeed setails they may leave out especially when it comes to usage levels and actual spped rates vs. test rates.

That's disappointing. I got my wife an iphone when they came out on Verizon due to the force closes and lag problems I was having with my droid. I was hoping some of that was corrected by now.

I can't wait until Verizon has their 4G around Lake Charles. That stuff is fast, especially compared to their 3G.
