This past spring I was camping in Kisatchie and turkey hunting. After I killed my opening morning bird the A-10's were fly low level right over my camp and diving down onto peason ridge. Just as the sounds of the jet engines faded you could hear their guns whirring. Man what a show they put on for me.

Had 2 A-10 Warthogs fly over my middle school at roughly 300 feet (I know this cuz they were about even with the top of the cell phone tower in Gonzales) when I was in about 3rd or 4th grade. They were single filed and shook their planes when they were over the playground. Talk about cool to see that at 7-8 years old.

When I go bring Fowler to NAS Belle Chasse, I park in the lot at the end of runway and sit there and just watch F15s, F16s, F18s and Super Cobra, and Apache attack helos take off.
