Tim..... if you are considering going to Indian Bayou by boat, look for Lake Fordoche on the map. It is located north of the north Henderson flat's area. From this lake you can hunt off the lake or head up to the north east part of the lake and head up the bayou going farther north. Lots of good place up that way.
Or.... about mid lake, over on the west side of Lake Fordoche there is a bayou that goes to the west. Probably less hunting over this way. Some years, late in the season the water can get fairly high at Indian Bayou. |
Thanks guys.....ill be scouting it out in a few weekends......boat is the way to go. Gotta get away from the pressure! Got 4 more tags, and plenty of freezer space!!! Not sure I can afford the processor yet.........

There is a launch on the westside on the dixie pipeline that puts you right in the heart of the property. Been a couple years since I went back there,not sure if you can launch right now with the low water. Go slow in all of these areas,LOTS of stumps.
