I have not seen many guys use them. It seems most guys around here thing you need a gazillian horse power surface drive to kill birds.....LOL

I think it's a cultural thing......can you imagine how deadly these could be?
even in a rice field when the wind is not working to your blind.....lay these little boats out, wax myrtle them up and whala......

I am looking at have a a small 10X36 aluminum built now. It will have a small 7 horse surface drive. I am integrating a "caddy" system with wheels where two guys could hall in across levees, of in my case about a two hundred yard walk through the woods.

Small is the thing.......I hope so any way.
We hunted out of the larger sleds this year and it worked like a charm in shallow water cover.......bout as good as a pirogue, but with more stability to shoot

I did see some guys with two in Sabine. They were attaching their grass to the outside of the boats when we past. They were very interesting to see. Wish we would have seen them on the way out.
