the last model of the chronarch should have the same weight of the curado.....this is per the new body style that it has now.

I had one of those same rods. It broke on the very first fish I caught. Out the wrapper. I flipped a 1.5 pound trout and the thing blew up in 3 prices. Junk. There's no backbone to it.

Had a buddy break an H & H 3rd cast the other day.. Flipped a 3 lbs. bass in and like you said it exploded. I was laughing my arse off though.

Thanks for all the input guys, I need one more setup to add to my arsenal and i will be good to go. I get my calcutta back tomorrow from the tackleshop in New Orleans. Loooking forward to trying out those abec7 bearings! I'm gonna be on the lookout for one of those Chronarchs. Im rough on equipment and i dont think i would be able to give the core the TLC it deserves.

Neither. Both new models are junk. Core corrodes in a year. New chronarch is a peice of s h i t. Had a handle fall off in 3 days. Core is severely overpriced, severely. Buy a citca. Cheap, then bring it to a shop, replace bearings; boom- a curado. But, of you can, but a chronarch 100d7, or 5. You can turn a 5 into a 7.

I told W that before he ever bought one.
