True dat. been fishing black lake for years and have seen many boats messed up and lower units knocked off in there. Lots of old pipes and old well heads exposed in there. Use caution even during the day.

No more of me trying it i have 17 foot skiff and 40 merc and when i say mud slide i mean it.also im 260 ansd sink in the mudd past my a** didnt fish that day went home.

Fished it for the first time a month ago and caght a few trout its a cool place.
