I don't use ethanol in my boat or anything else. My boat mechanic said star tron fuel enzyme treatment helps combat ethanol issues. I use a little star tron every time I fill up my boat just in case their is ethanol or water in gas and my boat has run better than before since I started using it.

Ethanol is the DEVIL!
