The cougar had to be closer to SW pass or tiger pass. He does not fish the South pass area unless it is a special trip.

Trying to figure out this area is something that takes time. It can be very costly if you try to do it yourself. This area is not your run of the mill lake or pond or river. This area is constantly changing and fishing methods that worked yesterday may not work today.

Nice trip no doubt! And once you see that 80-90 pound yellowfin smash a popper you'll be hooked on offshore.
