I have a BJ and a Lowrance Elite 5 with the Transducer that was originially mounted on the transom. I HATE the way it looks, but live and learn when you don't give specific directions. Anyway, the location on the transom was just above the Tunnel. It never worked worth at flip while running. I moved it to inside the tunnel with the hopes of remaining submerged while running. I have used it once since relocating it and the performance is much, much better.
BTW, welcome to the club. You will love the boat. My only regret is I didn't get a "Seafoam" like Lavocat.....but my wife got a great deal on our "Grey and Black".:D |
Pretty sure I was behind you when you exited off of 210 yesterday. Looks like in the pic here you got a white f250. Let me tell yeah that is a slick looking Black Jack.

Very nice rig!

Welcome to the club. I have the one with the Seafoam stripe. You will love your boat. Never met a BlackJack owner that did not. My transducer is a thru-hull and I have no problems at all. Enjoy the boat and those boys while they are young and still want to go with Dad.
