Surge protectors man, that's why I use them no matter what I plug electronics into.

Surge protectors dont protect against constant over voltage situations, they only protect againt power surges. So in yakems case that would not have helped.

Yea those are nice but they so darn expensive. I guess you get what you pay for though...

make sure when you buy one look at the refreshment rate i think it is.. don't get anything under 120Hz.. mines a 60Hz and i can see the lag when i play my ps3
