Surge protectors dont protect against constant over voltage situations, they only protect againt power surges. So in yakems case that would not have helped. |

make sure when you buy one look at the refreshment rate i think it is.. don't get anything under 120Hz.. mines a 60Hz and i can see the lag when i play my ps3
