A friend called and said some other friends were on the Flounder, but the one on the phone's boat wasn't running.
I ran down to Cameron to launch, it was too cold to run from L.C. to Cameron by boat.
I have been on Flounder before, but never like this.
If you chunked the Speck rig far enough and dragged it back in slow enough, you were going to catch a Flounder on every throw.
But you had to retrieve real real slow.

So next Sunday you going fishing?

Me and 2 friends went again today.
We caught 30 flounder, but it took us a lot longer. We had to move farther South too.
We fished the same mud flat and didn't catch craap.
We eased down the river and started picking them up on the South side of St. John's.
1 good sized one, 2 med. sized ones and the rest were 1 to 1.5 lbs.
I am thinking about looking for some trout in the morning, after it warms up a little.
I got some new lures from Mikethetiger55 that I need to try out.

And I can't seem to get the fish smell off my hands. I have cleaned way too many Flounder in the past 2 days.

We had stuffed Flounder last night, stuffed with crab meat and tonight we are having fried Flounder.
I am going to fillet one of the bigger ones as soon as it thaws out and cook some fresh corn on the cob I got last week.
Looks like it is going to be a Flounder winter for me.
