Bifen i/t works great on everything!

bullcroaker 05-08-2013 08:26 PM

I work in mosquito control and one time I had thousands of mosquitoes that i took out of the freezer that i was going to count after lunch. During luch i guess they thawed out and after lunch my lab walls were covered with thousands of mosquitoes. I found if you have a ton of mosquitoes resting on the walls inside your house a shop vac wil suck them up and then you can dump them in the trash outside.

And also keep outside lights off at night or have tem on motion sensor.

I'm puttin the killabug in action tonight I looked at the active ingredient and it is 25% permethrin and if I remember right it takes 6 ounces per 20 gallons

JAg 05-09-2013 08:32 PM

Permethrin 36.8 % 1oz - 3gal
( kills on contact)

Biferthrin 7.9% talstar p 1oz - 1gal this is a boundry mosquitos want come near where it is sprayed

cyzmic cs 1oz - 3gal this is oil for residual will keep the permethrin and biferthrin in a bubble of oil for 21 days when a mosquito lands it pops bubble and kills it

mix these all together

when you get mosquitos back just spray the permithrin and biferthrin then after 21 days spray the cyzmic.

this is the same thing the mosquito authority sprays and they guarantee no mosquitos

you can also get altsoid pro-g to put in small water around your house this kills the larve

Just wanted to give a little up date the kill a bug which is 25% permethrin works very well. I sprayed under my porch and as long as your under it they ain't bad you step out to the grass and you get drained

inchspinner 05-19-2013 09:05 PM

Where do you find all of this

If you spray bifin once a week after your grass is mowed you should not have any bugs.

Will this stuff work on deer flies? And does it harm plants? I need something I can spray around my pool. The deer flies get vicious during the summer.

calcutta37 06-12-2013 04:23 AM

It should and I spray the yard, plants, fence, all around my back door. Pretty much spray everything.

My buddy has a misting system on a timer, the misters hang on his gutters and are fed by a 55 gal drum. He says he has to fill it about once a year to once every 2 years.

Lives in hackberry and has zero mosquito problem, not sure who makes it or what is in it, but may be worth looking into - ill have a setup on my next house when I get back out in the country...
