I was crawfishing one time and watched a huge diamondback water snake go in a trap that just ran and steel the bait (cut fish) out of the trap and swim to the levee and eat it. That sucker was big!!

Correct.........and that is just an average size. I saw one once that was swimming with a 2 lb catfish in it's mouth. Snake must have been 6.5+ feet long.
