Louisiana still give away 21' boats? I'd figure by this year the largest they'd give out, even for overall winner, would be a 19' nautic rg w/ a 70hp suzuki.

22 Cat is $35+ used with 200 on it, not sure about the V. They are sweet boats. Fished one a while back and probably fish in it again this Friday.

I won a Nautic Star in 2004, it was the runner up boat back when they would give a boat per month for the Largest Trout. If I remember right none of the boats were actually purchased by CCA. I remember I had to go to 3 different dealers to pick up paperwork for tax purposes. One place had donated the trailer, the other places the boat and one the motor. Everything was donated to CCA. Is it still the same today? Is CCA purchasing the prize packages or are they still being donated? If is being donated they can only award what is being given to them.

Maybe the CCA guys in La could get some tips from the guys in Tx....
