How man people have actually been ran over in a pirogue? Either way they should allow you to run in the marsh and that would eliminate the problem all together.

Problems?

I been huntin Sabine since 1968, its been through lots of changes. We used to be able to run the marsh. If its not in the rules then we should not. And yes i have seen with my own eyes guys gettin swamped by illegal marsh runnin, gettin there spot taken away by cheaters not willin to put in the work. I like things to be more open to get futher apart out there, but with the yahoos not following the rules things will stay tight. The money shortage in goverment makes it worse out there with keeping up with things. If people would get out there and help and show the management of Sabine that we can help, want to help and police ourselves we can get more in the long run and make room for all.

Well you don't think if they make it legal to run the marsh the noobs won't run out there and set up close to you? The only thing marsh running benefits is the outlaws. If they legalized it then everyone would be in an even level. And now your back to your original problem.

You don't think it would help to spread people out?

I like the ones in the paddle only section who paddle in 50 yards and they done. Then it's a giant Gang bang up in the front, they come back to the landing b**** because they didn't kill birds.

We smashed the ducks in that section, would come back to the landing, next day those pilgrims would get closer and closer until you end up having this situation.

Pirogues on refuge refuge require one 360 all around white light if they'd have those they wouldn't get hit

Like stated earlier. If you are willing to put in the work and get away from the people it is very easy to kill ducks out there. The rules are put in place with safety in mind. When it gets to a point that the outlawing is out of control they will just shut the whole thing down and no one will be hunting it. Problem is people feel entitled to do whatever they please and not obey the law and its those that are going to ruin it for everyone.

My math says 60% of 125,000 acres is 75,000 acres and there is no way the units open for hunting encompass 75,000. If they had the man power, it would be easy to separate everyone using a draw system every morning but they would need someone at the launch to conduct it.
