i use the dollar spraypaint at walmart. flat black. i use the dollar gloss white on the beaks, and spray several across the back to look like blackjacks.
you can also spray the cheap clear gloss on old decoys and it will bring back the color and not be too shiney.


i do this to 100-150 decoys every year, it's as cheap as i know how, and it kills ducks.

I hope that's a joke, decoys don't need to be perfect.
If they are close enough to see imperfections they need to get whacked. I used decoys half covered in mud this past season and didn't have any problems getting my limits.

We've used milk jugs and 2 liters before black and white paint is all you need. They all look like dark dots on the water from the air and that's enough for them to come take a look then you bag em brotha
