Had a dog that did that and I gave him away got another dog started the same crap so I did some research well gave my sister the career college student to be a vet and she told me to go to Petsmart and buy the Kong which is a rubber snowman looking thing that is hollow and stuff it with peanut butter and some of the treats that you can buy with it. She said give it to the dog everytime you leave the house or whenever you cant give the dog attention the dog will spend hours and hours trying to get every bit of peanut butter out and no more tore up stuff

Slathering my kong in peanut butter only kept my dogs busy for a couple minutes.

I have a lab that is totally terrified of thunder and lightning, came home from work one day after a thunder storm, notice she tried to chew her way into the house through our back door. Pissed, is an under statement.....

I don't think it was her. She looks like she was framed!!

It's a he. His name is Raymond aka Reggie. He is totally harmless unless UR a bone or a couch cushion! He likes stroles thru the backyard and being lazy like his father!

Oh yeah. I get that look a lot. That's his defuse the situation look. My favorite is when I come home and he knows he did something wrong so he gets out his chair and hauls azz. Then I have to start looking. It could be something so small like maybe he chewed a leg on a chair. Hardly noticeable but he knows he messed up so he goes hide.

I have to put mine outside when we watch any game. Everytime they blow a whistle on tv she freaks out and starts barking aggressivly at the tv.

My lab can come and go out of the house all day...He just opts to stay in there and destroy the place!:rotfl:

So I'm laying in bed this morning and u hear something fall in the living room. I don't think nothing of it. About 30 minutes later I get up to go get coffee and I see a piece of driftwood on the floor. I go to pick it up....no squirrel. Look over on the couch and I find it. My lab obviously thought that was a new toy we brought her home. She chewed the feet off and the tail . She even ate the pecan out of its mouth.Attachment 56620

In the few short months that we've had our adopted lab, here's a partial list of items consumed by him...

Countless drink boxes
An entire case of bottled water...on the furniture!!
An $85 bottle of my little dog's arthritis medicine
A Wii remote
Kids sandals and, shoes...MULTIPLE!
Freshly cut drunk chicken off the counter(nearly a death sentence!)
and yesterday,
a TV remote and, OUR WEDDING ALBUM!
That was the last straw. He will now reside in a steel crate any time we aren't home. Oh yeah, two bruised toes for my wife from trying to kick sense into him.LOL
