No thanks, bro. I turned down a full scholarship offer to LSU for a reason. They don't like me much in Baton Rouge. :p

What's a decent hotel in Lafayette? I did a search on Expedia for 4-5 star hotel and got "No results found".

I'm double checking, but I'm always good to go for a Guys Night......................See ya here!!!

I'm looking at the Crowne Plaza on W Pinhook. Anyone familiar with it and have opinions? Crowne Plazas are typically decent, and it's only $80/night, which isn't bad at all.

never stayed there but any hotel in that area is decent

I stayed in a Crowne Plaza in Trinidad and it was pretty nice there, so I would imagine it would be even better here in the states.

Shadman.
It's not a bad hotel. If your wife was coming, I'd suggest the Juliet downtown on Jefferson or a bed and breakfest (t'fere's). Icegators are out of town, check the cajundome.com and see if anything is happening or downtown is usually a good place to go. You'll have a good time here.

LOL...Cajun Dome has Disney on Ice, which I just weasled myself out of having to go to here in Houston this Saturday (although the tickets wre 2nd row). :)

I'd love to, but I have to work at least a half day before heading out. Thanks for the offer, though. Another time for sure.
