That is an awesome hunt. Great Picture. Are you guys going by boat in Sherburne or walkin in? A few years back I was on a primitive weapons deer hunt off Section 120 Rd and the green heads were raining in, but the water was pretty high at the time. |

By boat on Krotz Springs side of Sherbune. But I know some guys that did well on ducks off Section 120 Rd this year. You just have to get out there wayyyy too early for me (3-3:30am) to beat everyone to the spots. Get in boat and you can get away from the people. Didn't hear one shot when we were hunting back there this past Tuesday. |
