Get him on of these. He'll be the baddest farmer on the block.

Holy Crap!

That is one bad *** pellet gun!

You could take out a coyote with that weapon! Did you see the size of that pellet?!?!

Can do this if you don't mind being a whore for the ATF. They knock on your door and want to see it you better have it. "I loaned it to my buddy" lands you in federal prison.

Quieter than a pellet gun. You can buy em at a gun store. Good for about 30 yards. It has no powder only primer. You can shoot em in town. It won't cycle in an auto. You have to manually eject em.

This is correct. That SOT is a bit more of a burden than most people wanna deal with. Were it not for all of the paperwork, my firearms company would be a class III dealer. I've got too much other stuff to deal with already!

Gamo makes one that I shoot that's about 1300FPS and, shoots as true as any other .177 pellet rifle on the market.

That's why you go the trust route and have your buddy listed on the trust. That also exempts you from the CLEO signature requirements. Here in Lafayette parish, you'd be hard presses to get the sign off unless you made a nice contribution to a campaign.

Go to Gamo web site, on right you will see DEMO Sale! That is where its at.

i agree with this right here. only thing is finding them is pretty much impossible.

i bought a $250+ gamo last year and kept it for a few mths... it shot 1400fps and was louder than a real 22 cartridge. had other pellets i bought that were slower and quieter. i ended up trading it for a 30-06 remington.:smokin:

the problem is it never was accurate shot for shot. one would go high then one low then one left then the next could hit a dime at 25 yds. it was so inconsistent and useless. i would setup targets at 75 yds and i would tear them up but it just didnt hold true. the best pellet gun i ever had was the old benjamin pump. always dead on and never had a problem.

i would NOT ever recommend a gamo spring gun to anyone ever! total junk. i also read review after review about the same problems with them. looked really cool though. theres a good chance that with new scope would have fixed the problem but i wouldnt wanna spend another $200 on an already overpriced toy.

in place of the gamo i bought my son a "cricket" and the colibri primer rounds. best purchase ever. watched my son nail his first bird with it.:D

also, once you start shooting these high velocity pellet guns, the actual quality of the pellets is KEY to accuracy. those little cheap mismatched pellets will fly everywhere at 1000+ fps and hit nothing but once you find the one that works with your gun keep shooting that exact one. took me a while but that was half the fun.
