Meh! They work great in my opinion. The hook is strong and sharp. I have both brands and buy whichever ones are available and don't use any other brands. My point is they both address a design flaw in other jigheads with their ability to hold plastic baits really well.

La lead are sold as singles or in bags of. 50 on this side at local tackle shops. Never used a yellowmouth. When i tried to check on them it seemed that the hook on their 3/8 head was way oversized for my use in lake p.

I'm over in the NOLA area. I haven't seen any yellow mouths but I like to experiment and try new things. Is there a website? I've googled it up but haven't been able to find one.

Is 4/0 the only option in 3/8?

yes sir, I've tried to keep the selection down to the most used in each size. For many reasons but mainly so I can keep up demand of the major choices and be spread too thin.
1/16oz - 2/0
1/8oz - 2/0
1/4oz - 3/0
3/8oz - 4/0
I realize the size of the hook in the 3/8 is probably more based on needs of the west side fisherman as it is used more for redfish and in certain situations. 3/8 for trout is just not needed over here
