What to do with the bullet & brass
 
Make a necklace, wear it or hang it in a prominent place. It will make a great conversation piece. I'm thankful you or anyone else was not sveverly injured (although your injuries were not minor by any means).

Wow. Glad you came out alright. I bet your kids have a new found respect for firearms after seeing the actual effects of being shot. So which pistol did your mom decide to go with after that? None?
