Yeah, the sheriffs are awesome. I forgot the guy's name, but he pulled me back one day all the way from the wash out. Extremely nice people. I'm going to miss launching there this sumner, but CAL POINTE is so much closer to my house and has live bait. Now I finally have a big enough boat to run anywhere from cal pointe, plus don't have to get caught by the dang draw bridge every day.

A few months back, Darryl Farque, the police juror for Big Lake mentioned in a Police Jury meeting that he wanted the Jury to make Crab Lady Landing into a free public launch. I haven't seen an update but I think we should all throw support to him making that a reality.

I wish they would take the 5 dollar launch fee fix the potholes at heberts, haven't been lately maybe they have

Yep they r fixed... been fixed since the fall i think.

"FIXED"...... that depends on your definition.

I would describe it as "partially filled in".
